Highfern Ltd

Established in 2014 by Robert Ransom, Highfern Ltd is the proprietor of Angels’ Nectar Scotch Whisky, our quirky and contemporary Scotch Whisky brand. With Angels’ Nectar we showcase different style of Scotch Whisky, with a series of limited edition releases inspired by the Angels’ share, the traditional name given to the whisky lost to evaporation during maturation. Current releases include our Angels’ Nectar Blended Malt Scotch Whisky – Original, created by selecting and blending the finest casks of Speyside and Highland malts, which is bottled at natural colour and offers a sweet nose akin to apple pie in the oven, followed by heather honey and lemon on the taste. Our Angels’ Nectar Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Cairngorms 2nd Edition, is our latest single cask release, from a Speyside distillery in the Cairngorms National Park, bottled in partnership with the Cairngorms Trust to support environmental and community projects in the Cairngorms. It is a traditional Speyside dram with fudge and floral notes on the nose, which opens on the taste to reveal more sweetness and dried tropical fruit.

Alongside Angels’ Nectar, Highfern Ltd imports and distributes a portfolio of complimentary spirits including Cihuatán Rum from El Salvador, Langatun Whisky and Seven Seals Whisky from Switzerland and Strane Gin from Sweden.

Based near Grantown-on-Spey, in the Cairngorms National Park, we primarily sell to the trade across the UK, but now offer on-line sales to consumers via The Countryside Store and our own on-line shop.
